Who can contribute to our Especially For You fund?
Anyone and everyone! The more people you tell about your child’s Especially For You fund, the more people will want to support it. In your welcome pack you will be given some announcement cards to use to tell your family and friends about your dedicated fund.
How can I support an Especially For You fund?
The choice is yours! You may decide to take part in an overseas challenge to have an experience of a lifetime, run the Flora London Marathon or host your own event. Don’t forget the fund is for everyone to support so don’t feel it is just for you to contribute to.
How can I ensure that all relevant donations go into my child’s fund?
Every Especially For You fund has its own unique code which your will get when we send you your welcome pack. The code is the reference code to be used on all correspondence (including donations) about your fund.
The code is for family and friends to use too when donating to the fund - but don't worry if they forget it! As long as they mention the name of the Especially For You fund they wish to support then we will be able to make sure their money goes to the right place.
How long will our Especially For You fund stay open?
It is your fund so it will stay open for as long as you wish it to. If at any time you wish to close your Especially For You fund, just call us on 0845 121 2491 or email funds@clicsargent.org.uk and we will close it for you.
How will I find out how much has been donated to our Especially For You fund?
You will receive updates twice a year to let you know how much your fund has grown and who has contributed to your fund. You will be able to see all the different events that people have taken part in to grow your fund.
Can I have a say in how you spend the money raised through my fund?
All income raised through your child's Especially For You fund will go to support our work with children and young people with cancer. We constantly review (in consultation with everyone that uses our services) how best we can help. Your money will always go where it is needed to provide the best services possible to those we help.
