Everyone has different reasons for supporting CLIC Sargent.  Below are a few supporters stories showing why they have chosen to remember us in their Wills:

“My friend’s daughter was diagnosed with bone cancer when she was just 14 years old. So I saw first hand just how devastating it was for the whole family. I was struck by all the support offered by CLIC Sargent and have had huge admiration for their work ever since. I’ve decided to help CLIC Sargent in my Will because there will always be families like Elaine’s who would struggle to cope without them.”

Ms Jane Canessa

“I used to be a health visitor and cared for many children with cancer over the years. I saw how stressful it was for the whole family, and how important the Charity’s services were in these desperate times. I’m remembering CLIC Sargent in my Will so there will always be someone there for children with cancer in the years to come.”

Mrs Honor Jarvis

“It is terrible what children and young people with cancer have to deal with. In my younger days I used to love going to see Sir Malcolm Sargent at the proms. When the Charity was set up in his memory I felt a personal connection and wanted to support this special cause. My legacy will make sure my support will continue.”

“I have been a supporter for over 20 years and in that time I have seen the progress that has been made in helping children to beat childhood cancer. It means such a lot to me to know that my support has been a part of that success and I want to help it continue.”

Mary Peterson

I so enjoyed my life as a dancer but it may not have been possible if I'd had cancer as a child. I was lucky, which is why I want to help children with cancer now and into the future too. I hope that like me, they too will be able to do what they really enjoy in life. So I support CLIC Sargent and have remembered them in my Will.
