Home > Get involved >The Big Bucket Collection is CLIC Sargent’s annual collection fundraising event, held during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Over the last two years, each December, thousands of volunteers have joined our Big Bucket Collection team and held collections in their local communities all over the UK, to raise vital funds for CLIC Sargent.
Together, they have raised over £315,000! This is an amazing achievement, which has enabled us to continue to support children and young people with cancer and their families.
By giving just a small amount of their time the Big Bucket Collection team has helped to fund our whole range of services, from grants to help families cope with the financial impact of cancer, to specialist children’s cancer nurses who help children spend as much time at home as possible by co-ordinating all the care they need when they get there.
We want to make the December 2012 Big Bucket Collection the biggest and best yet and need as many people as possible to join the team. If you would like to get involved and hold a collection in your local area, please contact us on 0117 314 8602 or at bigbucketcollection@clicsargent.org.uk.
