Lift Your Gift

Gift aid is a government scheme which allows charities to reclaim the tax that supporters have already paid on their donations.

This is because we can claim back the basic rate of income tax (which is currently 20 per cent).

This means for every £10 donated, the taxman will give us an extra £2.50.

Gift aid is a really simple way of raising extra money to support our families affected by childhood cancer.

As well as being able to claim Gift Aid on monetary donations we can also earn that little bit extra on your donations of clothes and brick-a-brack that you bring into our charity shops. You simply have to sign up as a Gift Aid donor for us.

However, we can only claim on donations made within the last six years − so please lift your gift now!

To be eligible you must be a UK tax-payer and must pay sufficient income tax or capital gains tax to at least equal the tax reclaimed by a charity or charities on the donor’s qualifying donations in the relevant tax year.
