CLIC Sargent is celebrating the launch of its partnership with TOTAL BUTLER which has begun with a donation of £10,000 from the fuel supplier company.
TOTAL BUTLER kick-started the relationship by branding all of its tankers with the CLIC Sargent fuchsia logo on the cab doors, and launched a fleet of eight brand new delivery tankers which have the Charity’s full branding covering the truck. The launch took place at TOTAL BUTLER’s head office in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, and the new fleet has already taken to the roads.
Total UK, the parent company of TOTAL BUTLER, has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with CLIC Sargent since 2001.

Clare Gallie, Head of Fundraising UK, CLIC Sargent said: “We are thrilled to be chosen as TOTAL BUTLER’s corporate charity and the £10,000 donation will be a great help. This donation is enough to fund a CLIC Sargent Social Worker to support families for two months. Our social workers help the whole family, including siblings and grandparents, to understand and cope with the emotional, practical and financial effects of cancer, from the very moment their child is diagnosed.”
As part of the partnership, Matt Gregg will take part in the 2010 Virgin London Marathon, for which CLIC Sargent is the official charity. Matt, who is a Customer Sales Development Manager at TOTAL BUTLER’S Westcott sales centre, has never taken part in a marathon and wanted to support CLIC Sargent as he has personal experience of dealing with cancer within his family.
Claire Woolham, Marketing Executive, TOTAL BUTLER commented: “We are delighted to be supporting such a deserving charity. We are keen to help CLIC Sargent further and some of our sales centres across the country already have ideas to kick start fundraising activities in 2010. We also wish Matt the best of luck for the 2010 London Marathon and hope that everyone supports him in raising essential funds for CLIC Sargent.”
