TOTAL UK has teamed up with CLIC Sargent to sponsor the prestigious Sunningdale Golf Day. This year’s event will be hosted by Eddie Jordan, Gary Lineker and Barry McGuigan on Wednesday 15th October 2008.
TOTAL UK is the first title sponsor to lend its support to this annual event and there are high hopes that the two TOTAL UK teams will demonstrate their golfing prowess. All money raised on the day will go directly to CLIC Sargent to provide practical and emotional support for children and young people with cancer and their families.
The tournament brings together 24 teams of sporting enthusiasts and celebrities who will go head to head as they pitch their way around the famous 18-hole course. After honing their handicaps, the teams will retire to the club house to relax and enjoy a delicious three course lunch with fine wines.
To tee-off the afternoon, a charity auction, raffle and prize-giving will take place offering the chance to bid for some fantastic prizes, while networking with other guests. Last year’s celebrity guests included Damon Hill, Susan Moon and Chris Hollins, as well as three members of the 2006 Ryder Cup Team - Paul McGinley, David Howell and Darren Clark.

Registration costs £3,000 per team of three and each team will be allocated a celebrity to join them around the course.
