Sarah Stone, specialist in professional pregnancy & newborn photography from Newport - is organising a Glamorous Film Night as part of National Yummy Mummy Week (6th to 14th March). The fun-packed fundraising event is for women and mums of all ages and raises money for CLIC Sargent.
This year, Yummy Mummy Week marks its fifth birthday and Mums, their friends and family are being encouraged to get involved in one of five ways: Eat Yummy, Dress Yummy, Party Yummy, Feel Yummy or Go Yummy!
Sarah has chosen to adopt the Party Yummy theme and will be hosting a Glamorous Sex and the City Film Night on Thursday 11th March at Cineworld Newport from 7.30pm. The event is expected to draw a host of people from across the region. The tickets cost £15 per person and will automatically enter you into a prize draw for some fantastic glamorous goodies donated from leading brands such as John Lewis, House of Fraser and much more.
Sarah said: “I think it is important for Mums to be able to take some time out to do something a bit different. Hosting a Yummy Mummy event is great because it is fun and easy to do. It has given me the perfect opportunity to get together and have some fun with family and friends while raising money for a fantastic cause at the same time. We hope that as many people as possible can come along and support our efforts to help children with cancer.”
Alternatively people can support the campaign by purchasing gifts from the Yummy Mummy product range. The fun range of products carrying the ‘I’m a Yummy Mummy’ slogan offers something to suit every Mum. Gifts include aprons (10.99), bone china mugs (£6.00) and cute compact mirrors (£3.00) and much, much more! And because Grans are Mums too, there’s also an ‘I’m a Glamorous Granny’ range, meaning you can celebrate all the Mums in the family and have a thoroughly yummy day this March! With something to suit every mum and all pockets you can find the perfect gift this Mother’s day and help raise money for children with cancer at the same time.
In the five years since Yummy Mummy Week was launched more than 200,000 mums and their families and friends have taken part and together they have raised more than £1million to help children and young people and their families with cancer.
