Norwich GP, Dr. Stewart Fraser hung up his stethoscope after nearly 32 years at the Magdalen Medical Practice on Friday 3rd April. Rather than giving gifts he asked patients and staff to celebrate his retirement by raising funds for CLIC Sargent.
Over three decades the family doctor has treated generations of families in Norwich, and in recognition of his passionate service to the community locals dug deep and raised over £1,700 for CLIC Sargent on Dr. Fraser’s behalf.
CLIC Sargent Event Fundraising Manager, Annie Thomas says: “I would like to say an enormous thank you to the patients and staff at Magdalen Medical Practice for raising over £1,700 for a charity close to Dr. Fraser’s heart. This donation will really help make a difference to families affected by childhood cancer and it reflects just how much Dr. Fraser means to the people of Norwich.”
Dr. Fraser says: “It has been a pleasure and privilege to have had the opportunity to serve my patients over so many years and I am truly honoured and touched by the generosity of the patients and staff of Magdalen Medical Practice towards such a worthwhile cause.”
