CLIC Sargent has been recognised as the 2009 winner of the Institute of Fundraising’s ‘Best fundraising charity to work for’ award. The Charity received the prestigious award at the Institute of Fundraising National Awards ceremony on Monday 6 July 2009.

Lucy Caldicott, Director of Fundraising attended the ceremony, accompanied by fundraising colleagues. Lucy says: “CLIC Sargent is so proud to have been recognised by the Institute of Fundraising, as a great place to work for fundraisers. This is a fantastic achievement and a great way for us to celebrate the work of CLIC Sargent fundraising, as well as the wonderful support of our colleagues right across the charity.

“At CLIC Sargent we encourage not only fundraisers, but all staff, to understand the difference that the money we raise makes to children with cancer and their families. We do this by working closely with our Services colleagues as well as involving service users in our fundraising work. The judges were really impressed, and we’re thrilled!”
