Join staff from JD Wethersoon pub the Imperial on Exeter’s New North Road for a packed day of family fun this Bank Holiday in aid of CLIC Sargent.
Free to enter, activities begin at 12pm on Sunday 4 May and there’s something for everyone including an amazing display of trained birds of prey; a tough gladiator joust; a bouncy castle for kids; DJ; tasty barbecue and a special beer tent featuring locally brewed ales on special offer. A giant cinema screen will also be set up in the pub’s garden and play films from Friday 2 May through to the Sunday night. Casino Royale, 300 and The Transformers feature on the bill for Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.
“We want as many people as possible to come along and have a great day out,” says event organiser and Imperial staff member Jye Dixey. “We’ve got something for all ages, plus we are raising money for a really worthwhile cause in CLIC Sargent.”
For further information about this exciting event call Jye on 01392 434050. All money raised on the day will be donated to CLIC Sargent so the Charity can continue its vital work of acting as a lifeline when the unthinkable happens. Everyday in the UK 10 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer, CLIC Sargent provides specialist nurses, doctors, play specialists, and Home from Home facilities to support children with cancer and their families.
