CLIC Sargent is delighted to announce that the Survivors Annual Conference 2008 will take place on 6 – 7 September at Aston University in Birmingham.
The annual conference titled Moving Forward, will be a hugely worthwhile event for health professionals who have responsibility in providing services to children and young people both on and off treatment for childhood cancer.
CLIC Sargent is also inviting children and young people 13 – 24 years-old who define themselves as a survivor to attend and share their experience with others. Children and young people outside this age group are also welcome to attend.
Focusing on the needs of survivors and services they require, the Charity’s conference will hear from both health professionals and survivors of childhood cancer.
For more information about this event please contact Andrew Cooper or Fran Walters at CLIC Sargent on: 0117 314 8644 / 311 2621 or email: frances.walters@clicsargent.org.uk.
Please note travel and accommodation for survivors will be reimbursed by CLIC Sargent. Accommodation will be provided at Aston University for Saturday 6 September 2008.
