What are your experiences? We're keen to know.

We're looking for people aged between 12 and 18 to take part in an online survey all about cancer treatment and changes in your body. The survey will be asking if these changes made you feel differently about your body/appearance, and also about how you handled any changes. If you're interested, please read the text below and then follow the link which will take you to the survey.

But....before you go any further please note that:
  • Your name will not be used in the survey
  • All information collected from you will only be used for research, and nothing else
  • The survey is sponsored by CLIC Sargent, and carried out by Centre for Appearance Research (CAR), based at the University of the West of England (UWE)
  • If you are under 16 you will need to ask your parents/guardians if it's ok for you to take part in the survey. There is a section in the survey where you can confirm that they've agreed to it.
  • If you, or your parents, want further information about this study before taking part, please contact the main researcher Heidi Williamson on: heidi3.williamson@uwe.ac.uk. Tel 0117 3281572
  • The survey is officially called: Cancer and appearance: survey of adolescent experiences.
  • You need to be between 12 and 18 and receiving treatment for any type of cancer to take part in this survey

Please click here to take part in the survey. This link takes you through to the 'Survey Monkey' website, which is hosting the online survey.
