I'm so sorry your family is going through this, do you have any local support? I know of a web site that was set up by a young lady who suffered RB as a child you may find infomation and support there http://www.orphancancer.org/home.html.
I hope this is of some help to you.
Lucy.

message: Hi Debbie, my son was diagnosied with a tumour jan 07" aged 8yrs. One of the first people to contact me was a friend I had lost contact with for a couple of years. When we were still friendly (I was pregnant with my son, born a few months after her grandson), aged three weeks he was diagnosied with a tumour on his kidney and had to have chemo, and opp; I couldnot beleive someone so young could go through this but he did and is now a healthy 10yr old, just been discharged from hospital!

message: Hi thank you so much to everyone who has contacted me about Fraser and the charity work we are doing for CLIC Sargent is coming on great guns a lot of support from most people.

We have raised an awful lot of money so far, Fraser is just a wee star and is doing good so far even though he’s had a lot to go through chemo injected straight into his eye and a bad reaction did not go down well its very trying going to Birmingham then to Aberdeen every 3 weeks so we take it in turns to take him.

We still don’t know the outcome but fingers crossed he will be fine. With a lot of very good friends and family to help us thro makes it easier. There still a lot of ignorant people though who try to make things hard. But they’re not worth it. Once again thanks to all who got in touch and to CLIC Sargent. Peter and staff do a great job and feel they are friends more than anything so keep everything crossed for my special little grandson all goes well. Will update when I know more :) :)
