Tips that i hope will help

First, always trust your gut instincts, they are usually right. Always make time for yourself. Never change the rules, always stay in control. Try to stay strong infront of your child When you want to cry, do it in 'your time' Be honest with your child, answer any questions they ask. Be as truthful as you can. never forget they are going through traumatic treatment, and you are as well. when you are in hospital, look at what other children are going through. Talk to other parents, we can be very useful & a god send. My daughter has been battling spine & brain cancer for 8years, she has relapsed 4 times. she is now studying for her GCSE'S Stay strong & have faith, it really helps. Good luck everyone XXXXX
