There are a range of facilities available including a chapel, coffee bar, pharmacy, newsagent, NatWest bank (located in the medical school) florist and restaurant.

Fast food restaurants, a Post Office, supermarkets, chemists and other major high street shops are approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the hospital.

Train: The nearest overground station is Wimbledon, which is approximately a 15 minute walk from the hospital.

Tube: Tooting Broadway, on the Northern Line, is the nearest Underground station.  From here it is a 10-15 minute walk to the hospital.

Bus: The following buses stop near the hospital: G1, 155, 280, 264.

Parking on Site: Car parking at St George's Hospital is limited. Please note that car parking charges apply to all drivers using the car park; there are no exemptions, even if a permit is displayed.

If on the Pinckney Ward there is a kitchen available with the use of a fridge, microwave and a washing machine. Parents can be given a £1.00 voucher, per adult per day (maximum of 2) to purchase food from the hospital restaurant.

There are put-me-up beds beside each child’s bed.  There is also a fridge in each cubicle. If parents have other children, they are able to stay at Ingelby House (based outside the hospital in the Perimeter Road).

The charge for this accommodation is as follows:
• Adult - £25 per person, per night
• Over 5’s to 16 – Half price
• Under 5’s – Free
