General hospital amenities
Hospital facilities include: telephones, shops, cashpoints, a coffee shop and a restaurant.
The hospital is situated in Whitechapel opposite a busy street market. Whitechapel also offers a main Post Office, banks, building societies, large Sainsbury’s and a cinema. Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood is nearby.

Train: Liverpool Street is the nearest mainline station. It is just less than two miles away. Contact National Rail on 08457 48 49 50 for more information.
Tube: Whitechapel is the nearest Underground station. It is opposite the hospital main entrance on Whitechapel Road. The following tube lines run to Whitechapel: the Hammersmith and City line, District line and the East London line.
Bus: The following buses stop outside or close to the hospital on Whitechapel Road: numbers 25, 106, 205, 253 and 254 as well as night buses N25, N106 and N253.
Parking on Site: There are no dedicated car-parking facilities for patients or visitors at The Royal London. There are a number of public parking spaces for people with disabilities outside the hospital in Stepney Way. Certain patients may be exempt from congestion charging.
