Amenities include a newsagent/shop, restaurant/canteen, several cafes and snack bars, a library, chaplaincy, a cash machine and the patient travel desk, where expenses an be reimbursed.
The hospital is positioned to the west of the city and is a short distance by car bus or train to the following amenities:

Travel details to hospital
Train: Glasgow Central and Queen Street railway stations are approximately four miles from the Hospital. The nearest local train station is Hyndland, just off Queensborough Gardens, Hyndland, which is approximately five minute walk to the hospital.
Bus: The quickest and most direct buses to take go to and from the city centre. They are numbers 20, 66 and 159 - all depart on a regular basis.
Parking on Site: Parking is also very limited, especially at peak times. You must observe hospital parking restriction to enable ready access for emergency vehicles. If there are no spaces, it is possible for you to park in the surrounding streets. However, care must be taken to observe all parking restrictions.
Disabled Parking: This is also free of charge and disabled bays are clearly marked as such.
